Hello! 

My name is Chelsea Weilburg and I am an adjunct psychology instructor here at Modesto Junior College! I have been teaching psychology courses for over 10 years, both in person and online, but mostly online these days. I also develop and teach mental health classes for educators. My specialties include lifespan psychology, human sexuality, social psychology, developmental psychology, and mental health.


Biography

A few words about me: I grew up in Stockton, California and care deeply for my community. I attended Delta College, then transferred to Fresno State University where I received my BA degree in Psychology and discovered my passion for education. I returned to Stockton to pursue a credential in School Counseling, and a MS degree in Educational Counseling so that I could become an active and effective advocate for children and families within my hometown. 

For the past 10 years, I've been working as a school counselor at K-12 schools and have loved every minute of it. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my pets, making pottery, knitting, hiking, going to concerts, cooking, and traveling.
