Biography

My name is Jack Thomson and I recently retired after teaching 35 years of Business Education at the High School level.  I graduated from San Diego State University and received my teaching credential from there as well.  I later completed my Masters Degree in Education at the University of LaVerne. I have been with Modesto Junior College the past 12 years working as an adjunct in the Office Administration Center, which I find very rewarding.  My wife (Paula) and I have been married 46 years, we have 3 boys (John, Scott, and Travis), and one who passed in 2007 (Mike). We also have 5 grandchildren (Rebecca, John Michael, Harper, Jonah, and Ben).

My hobbies include golf, fly fishing, backpacking, and taking trips with my wife.  I still enjoy teaching and am looking forward to this class.  I also coached high school baseball for 41 years.
