Biography
Professionally: I'm in my 9th year teaching college-level English, and this is my 6th year teaching English at MJC. I am so thankful and blessed to say I have my dream job! I love teaching English because I have the opportunity to help students improve their literacy and critical thinking skills which can truly help them gain access to a better future for themselves and their families.
Personally: I am married and have two daughters - ages 15 and 13. I also have a yellow lab and a cat. I love drinking coffee, baking, hiking, and reading. I grew up near San Jose, then lived in a small town south of Fresno for 10 years. I have lived in Modesto since June of 2017.
