Biography

I am proud of the achievement of having an M.A. degree and being deaf. In my own words, "I do not let anyone see my weaknesses because I can do anything to hear except hear." 


I enjoy spending time with my husband Ernest and son Rodney when not at work. My hobbies include drinking Starbucks coffee, traveling, camping, hiking, education, and socializing with family and friends. I love the beach and the mountains.  I am a purple belt with four stripes in Jiu-Jitsu and teach women's self-defense classes and kids. My family is all HUGE Star Wars fans!
