Information
My name is Ruth Luman, and I started teaching ESL at MJC in 1998. I love working with ESL students because it allows me to learn about other cultures and how different people see the world. Working with students from all over the world has increased my love for traveling, studying foreign languages, and eating spicy food :-)
I hope ESL students feel welcome at MJC. While learning English is not always easy, I hope the experience here as an ESL student is rewarding. I am here to help students in any way that I can.
