I have been teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology at MJC since 1981. I have a BA in Biology from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY and a MS in Biology Education from Purdue University. At Purdue I began teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology as a graduate student. I also taught High School Biology and Chemistry as well as Junior High Math and Science. I am originally from Louisville, KY where my relatives still reside. My husband and I moved to Modesto in 1978 when our oldest son was two years old. We have been married since 1971 and have four grown children - two boys and two girls. We are now "empty nesters" with no children living at home. Our children have been replaced with our dog, Rebel, who is part German Shepherd. Currently I enjoy my hobbies of knitting, swimming, kayaking and bicycling and love to play with my grandchildren and travel.
