I have been teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology at MJC since 1981. I have a BA in Biology from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY and a MS in Biology Education from Purdue University. At Purdue I began teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology as a graduate student. I also taught High School Biology and Chemistry as well as Junior High Math and Science. I am originally from Louisville, KY where my relatives still reside. My husband and I moved to Modesto in 1978 when our oldest son was two years old. We have been married since 1971 and have four grown children - two boys and two girls. We are now "empty nesters" with no children living at home. Our children have been replaced with our dog, Rebel, who is a mixed breed rescue dog that looks like a small version of a German Shepherd. Currently I enjoy my hobbies of knitting, swimming, kayaking and bicycling and love to play with my grandchildren and travel.
