Biography

Greetings, students!

I am excited to be a part of your educational journey as your Child Development instructor for this course.

I am committed to providing high-quality education for both adult child development college students and young children. My own experiences as a college student help me to do this. I returned to school as an adult and earned my AA from Chabot College and a bachelor's degree in Classical Civilizations from the University of California, Berkeley. I then attended school online to get my first master’s in Online Teaching and Learning from Cal State University, East Bay, and a second master's in Early Childhood Education Studies and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management from Capella University.

When I am not working, you can find me making YouTube videos about my pug dogs or caring for my bearded dragon, Sheila.

Feel free to contact me anytime via email at preciadod@yosemite.edu. Email is the quickest way to reach me, and you can expect to hear back from me within 24-36 hours. You can also reach me by leaving a message on my office voicemail line at 209-575-7950, Ext. 8382 or by dropping by remotely during my office hours.

I look forward to working with you this semester.
