Sue Hobby

Sue is the Agriculture Computer Instructional Support Technician and Adjunct Instructor at MJC. She supervises the AG127 Computer Lab on East Campus.  In addition, she designs and creates instructional materials for the agriculture department staff. Lastly, she has taught courses including Agriculture Computers, Ag Sales and Service, Ag Leadership, Introduction to International Business, and Ag Communications.

Biography

Sue graduated from Iowa State University in 1988 with her degree in Dairy Science. After 24 years in ag business, she joined the agriculture team here at Modesto Junior College. She has a strong knowledge of desktop publishing, mostly from industry experience in the artificial insemination field as well as recruitment advertising. Being a 4-H leader for 11 years, she has a true devotion to educating and helping youth learn about livestock and responsibility.

In her spare time, Sue enjoys traveling and working on the family's 16-acre Boer goat ranch. The family competes locally and nationally with their breeding stock animals. Sue, her husband, Bill, and their three children (Christie, Rebecca, and Nicole) live in rural Hughson,
