Biography

Tricia Cooper is a Professor of Art History. She received a master’s degree in Art History & Visual Culture at the American International University in London, England, with a thesis on Contemporary Art in post-war Lebanon. She is passionate about many facets of Contemporary Art and eagerly follows the Contemporary Art scenes around the globe.

Her current research interests include The Art Market and Ethics, Museum Studies, Cultural Identity and the Diaspora, Globalization in Contemporary Art, and Public Art.  She is well versed in art history from the Paleolithic to the present with strong interests in the classical cultures of Greece and Rome, Middle Eastern Arts, the Renaissance, and Nineteenth-Century France.
